Radio
Common to all radios, RDS (Radio Data System) allows systematically display the name of Radio (PS mode), adjust the radio frequency during movements of the listener (AF) and stop immediately your CD to listen to news bulletins (TP or TA mode).
But the RDS system also has additional options that provide additional comfort of use. In particular, you can choose a car with the PTY function that allows pre-selecting a musical genre (jazz, classic ...), AVC and DFC functions that homogenize the sound in the cockpit, or LSM function that memorizes the last station listened to.
CD
- The car laser can read the CD format CD-R and CD-Rw. If you make long trips, choose a car CD-changer which can store between 6 to 18 CD in your trunk and select songs from your dashboard. This system avoids too frequent manipulations, which are opportunities for distraction.
- The MP3-compatible car is useful if you do not want to clutter the interior of your car. Its large capacity storage eliminates the need to carry with you a real CD collection.
Driving

Little extras
- Amplifier. All models of radios offering outputs for four speakers to homogenize the sound to the front and rear. For a power greater than 40W, insert an amplifier between the radio and its speakers.
- Remote control. It attaches to the wheel and you can adjust your audio without leaving the road.
