Why? Because Alertpay (AP) is the only EPS (Electronic Payment System) that gives you the chance to take your money back from a scammer HYIP. Here is the short review and a list of tips on how to secure your HYIP investments thru Alertpay.

When you entrust your money to a HYIP, your only guarantee of making profit and taking your deposit back is the good faith of the HYIP's admin. Is that much? I doubt that. People usually invest through Liberty Reserve (LR) and Perfect Money (PM) where all transactions are final, hence you'll never get any help from them if your got scammed. After you put your money into a HYIP thru LR or PM, you can only hope you will have luck and make profit. You're just helpless if something goes wrong. Unfortunately most people accept that and 90% of them come off a loser.
As far as I know, Alertpay (AP) is the only EPS that offers an option called "Transaction Dispute", i.e. you can claim your money back if you got scammed. Of course, it's not a 100% guarantee you'll be refunded, 'cause if the scammer's account is empty there's nothing to refund. But it's more than nothing comparing to LR or PM, where you just cannot ask for any help.
Their commision for any transaction is higher than at other EPS, i.e. 2.5%+0.25USD (for example at LR it's 1%, at PM even less - 0.5%), hence it's up to you to chose: to earn less with Alertpay or to "have the chance" to lose much or even everything with other EPS. Let's just consider that higher commission as a payment for the "Transaction Dispute" option.

Before you dive into the HYIP world, I suggest you to read this article about HYIP first.
OK, if after all you want to play with HYIPs, here are some tips on how to increase your chances of getting refunded at Alertpay if a scammed HYIP doesn't return your money:
  • Try to chose short deposit plans not exceeding 30 calendar days, as this is the Alertpay term during which you can submit your claim. In other words: if your investment transaction is made on the 1st of June, you can ask for refund only before the 1st of July.
  • Try to chose HYIP projects that are online for some time already (1 month or more) and already paid their investors, that would be the sigh that the project is solvent, and if something happens - there will be the chance there are enough cash on its Alertpay account to be refunded to you.
  • Try to choose daily or at most weekly withdrawals (not every 2 weeks or more), hence you could submit a Transaction Dispute as soon as you see that you're not paid. For example: if you invested today at a 2-week withdrawal condition, and after a couple of days the project gets publicly known as Scam, you won't just have the right to claim your money back thru Alertpay as per the terms of service of the HYIP you can withdraw your money only 2 weeks after you made your deposit. Moreover, the scammer would have enough time to exchange his AP currency to an other EPS or withdraw it to a bank account. In case of daily or 3-5days or even weekly withdrawals, Alertpay would be warned quickly enough that the given merchant (HYIP) is trying to steal your money.
  • Try to submit your claim as soon as possible (after having contacted the HYIP's admin, of course), you would increase your chances of getting refunded.

Some instructions:
  • Go to the Alertpay Helpdesk page, choose Transaction Dispute (last point) and fill in all the needed fields.
  • Specify that your transaction was made later than 30 calendar days ago and you already contacted the merchant.
  • Of course you'll need to give the transaction(s) number(s) and the merchant's name and his web address.
  • You will receive an automatic email notification form AP support that your claim has been submitted.
  • Then you will receive shortly another notification that the merchant has been contacted and asked to resolve your dispute within 5 business days. Sometimes Alertpay fulfill such requests without waiting 5 business days what is even better.
  • Otherwise you'll just have to wait (about 1 week). If you followed the tips and advices above, chances are you'll get your money back.
  • Please also note, that all your transactions with that merchant will be reversed as well including your withdrawals, so the only thing you will lose in that case is time, not money - the amount on your account will turn to be as it was before you made your deposit.

I repeat: there's no 100% guarantee that your claim will be satisfied, but anyway this option will change that unfair situation, when your money's future depends only on the will of unknown persons who take cash from one pocket and put it to another one, and there's no means of influencing that. The HYIPs know about Transaction Dispute them too, and if a project accepts AP e-currency and is doing that long enough, chances are it's not another short-lived scammer and has at least the will to keep on a bit longer.

I hope, my short review would be opportune in that risky world of HYIPs, and you'll be able to make use of it with the help of Alertpay. Good luck!
